I’ve been keeping this blog for a few years now and every now and then I’m struck by some new inspiration. The result is that what I write about continues to change. I expect that’s always going to be the case, but sometimes I see it coming and sometimes I don’t. Recently, I came across the idea of evergreen notes (again) and can’t stop thinking about them.
Andy’s work has been inspiring since I first saw it, but I want to give it another go. He’s not open sourcing his note system (yet) as it’s still an experiment (though he has open sourced a note-link-janitor). But that doesn’t mean I can’t try to do something that will work for me (what I’m referring to as building a personal-wiki) - after all, as Julia Evans’ says, Build Impossible Software.
What’s this all mean? Well, a few things:
